Let’s Get Unstuck

At your first session, I’ll spend some time learning about your background, your needs and what you hope to gain from therapy. You’ll also learn more about me and how I work, and I’ll answer any questions you may have. If you feel that I’m the right therapist for you, we’ll develop a plan to move forward so I can best support you in the issues you’re struggling with.

To provide consistency, I generally schedule your therapy session at the same time each week. During these sessions, I strive to create a safe environment where you can feel at ease. I’ll never push you to discuss things you don’t want to share or confront issues you aren’t ready to deal with. Therapy is all about you, and we can talk about whatever is going on in your life.

I won’t just sit back and listen, either. I’ll openly share things I notice and ask for your feedback, too. Throughout our sessions, I’ll hold in mind what you want to accomplish and weave that into our discussions to keep you on track toward your goals.
